As administrative assistant, Edie is the first person people encounter when they come to Central Synagogue – Beth Emeth. She is a major factor in helping Jacob’s Ladder and the synagogue run smoothly. On a daily basis, she interacts with Rabbi Gruber, Rabbi Skiddell, Robyn Teigman, the staff and parents of Jacob’s Ladder and our congregants. She enjoys the variety of tasks that need to be accomplished each day.
Working with this congregation for over twenty years has taught Edie the intricacies of synagogue life and has enabled her to become active in her own congregation.
Edie lives locally with her husband and is the proud mother of one daughter.
Robyn Teigman came to Jacob’s ladder in 1993 with her degree in early childhood education and a minor is psychology from Syracuse University. Prior to becoming our Early Childhood Director, she had many years of experience in teaching very young children. While she conducted many Mommy and Me classes and taught two-year-olds in synagogue settings, she always worked very closely with parents.
Robyn is married and has two sons.
