School Curriculum

The school uses the CHAI curriculum which was designed to facilitate lifelong Jewish learning in liberal, progressive congregations. It consists of 3 strands: Torah (study), Avodah (worship) and G’milut Chasadim (acts of loving-kindness). It focuses on the “big ideas” in Judaism leading students to a deep and enduring understanding of Jewish belief and practice. In addition, the curriculum includes Jewish holidays and their background, Israel, Hebrew and prayers.
